The National Forest completely borders this property on the southern and eastern boundaries, creating seemingly endless acreage to hunt and explore. Two large timber ridges meet in the middle of the property, creating a wet weather creek and an excellent pinch point for hunting whitetail deer. At the base of the ridges are pockets of cedar trees, providing excellent bedding areas for the deer. The wet weather creek runs through the center of the property, from Mark Twain National Forest, making a highway for the deer and turkey that live in the area. There is an old homestead on the property that is no longer habitable, but has an old well and electricity available near the southern boundary. The timber on this property is above average and has not been cut since the current owner bought the property over 40 years ago. This is a small recreational property, priced to sell, with the added benefit of timber income and additional acreage to hunt and explore the bordering National Forest.
