Recent data from Lands of America shows over $5 billion in land for sale in the Show Me State. This comprises over 538,000 acres of land for sale in Missouri. Of the 115 counties in Missouri, Jefferson County had the most land and rural real estate for sale. Based on comps submitted through the Lands of America Comparable Sales program in January 2019, Missouri is among the country's top five states for land sold during the month. This reflects a three percent rise in sales activity over the previous month, with a combined land value of $17 million for all property and land sold in the state. The most land sales in the state last month were had in Lincoln County. The Show-Me State might as well be the Show-Off State when it comes to outdoor recreation.
