Lands of America data shows almost $5 billion in land and rural real estate for sale in Missouri. The overall size of Missouri land for sale is 569,836 acres. Of the 115 counties in Missouri, Jefferson County had the most land and acreage for sale. Based on comps submitted through the Lands of America Comparable Sales program in December, Missouri is among the country's top five states for land sold during the month. This reflects an 18 percent decrease in sales activity over the month before, with a combined land value of $17 million for all property and land sold in the state.
