Description of the Land
The first word that came to my mind when I looked at this farm was Versatile this farm has so much to offer. Total farm acreage is 695 M/L, there is currently 161 acres of tillable land and the balance of the farm is in timber and pasture. There are some nice bottom fields that are currently being pastured that could be converted into tillable land providing approx 40-50 more acres potential tillable. Along with the tillable the farm is set up well for cattle, with plenty of pasture ground, and the property has excellent fences. Big blocks and draws of timber and brush throughout the farm provide excellent hunting opportunities. Putnam and Adair counties are 2 of the best in North Missouri for big whitetail bucks ( I jumped a lot of deer while photographing this property) A super nice Morton barn was constructed in 2005 on the SE corner of the farm, on top of a big ridge and the view is breathtaking! You can see the entire farm from the barn and the building could easily have living quarters added to it. There is a nice 3-4 acre lake just below the barn that offers excellent fishing, give Jeff Propst a call 636-209-0362 or to set up a private showing of this property.
