Nelson's love for hunting and fishing has been a huge interest nearly his entire life. He is actively involved in the outdoors and his love for land is deep rooted. Nelson currently co-hosts a local radio show called the Scenic View were he contributes as their fishing pro and he loves talking to fellow anglers about one of his fishing experiences. Nelson is also a certified hunter safety course instructor for the Missouri Department of Conservation teaching 3 classes a year to over 200 new hunters in the State of Missouri. Nelson has been hunting since he was 9 years old and has taken over 50 whitetailed deer amongst a variety of other big game throughout the country including moose, elk, black bear, grizzly bear, caribou, and mountain lion. Nelson has experience hunting the big game of the West and still holds a Wyoming Guide License. Nelson also has a close connection with the land currently owning and operating his 305 acre farm in Northern Missouri.
