The Ultimate Property Showing Tool: Day 5

This week we have extensively reviewed and demonstrated using a GPS-enabled iPad with the MotionX HD app. We believe this is a great tool that is fairly simple to use with a large return on investment. Not only can you map trails and locations on a property and easily produce trail and full maps of the property, you also have an overhead view to show potential buyers as they see property after property, to help them distinguish properties and remember the features of each.

There is a great feature included that will help while on the ranch or in the office, called the “Measure” tool. This simply measures the distance between two locations you indicate on the map, which is very helpful in writing descriptions, directions, and for helping potential buyers gain a better appreciation of the property.

Possibly the most important feature of this software is accessed by tapping the blue “I” in the top left corner of the application. This will open a full help manual for MotionX that will go through every feature in full detail and offer helpful information to get the most use out of your product.

As technology races forward, it is easy to miss large advancements that may impact the rural real estate market. We believe the MotionX GPS system is, for many, an indispensable tool for real estate on formerly unmappable properties.
